Features – Receiving

Receiving and putting to stock is a part of the warehouse features in Standard Dynamics NAV. With TRIMIT Fashion, the receiving feature is extended to handle TRIMIT Fashion Features.

Receiving Directly to Purchase Orders

When Items are received, they can be checked in directly on the Purchase order. This will speed up the process in getting the goods on stock in the system and to control that the Vendor has delivered as ordered. Differences between the quantities in a purchase order and actual quantities can be handled (shortages and surpluses).

Barcode Registering of Received Goods

As an option, the receiving process can be done by the use of Barcode scanners. The simplest scanners are attached directly to a Desktop PC running Dynamics NAV. The most advanced scanners are wireless connected to the Dynamics Database. The setup highly depends on your choice of scanner and need for information from the scanner.

Once the goods are received, they can be directly posted into the system and will as technical stock.
