Features – Allocation, Picking and Shipping

Picking and Shipping is part of the warehouse features in Standard Dynamics NAV. With TRIMIT Fashion, the Picking and Shipping feature is extended to handle TRIMIT Fashion Features.

Allocation & Picking lists

Before the picking takes place the available stock has to be allocated to the sales orders. Eventual shortages can be divided over the customers. TRIMIT has a very flexible way of setting up the allocation procedure. Furthermore, the results of this allocation proposal can be manual overruled

From the allocation list, picks can be created and the warehouse can start its activities. The picking list will only include goods that are on stock and not yet shipped.

Barcode Picking

The Picking process can be done by the use of Barcode scanners. The simplest scanners are attached directly to a Desktop PC running Dynamics NAV. The most advanced scanners are wireless connected to the Dynamics Database. The setup highly depends on your choice of scanner and need for information from the scanner.
