We have been providing site to site connectivity and remote working solutions for well over a decade. During this time we have successfully and cost effectively rolled out applications, remote working and hosted desktops throughout multi site organisations in the UK, Ireland, France and the United States.
Sci-Net Business Solutions has and continues to focus on our Sage and Microsoft Navision finance & enterprise business applications. Our IT systems side has evolved from a traditional IT value added reseller and support company to purely specialising in hosted services.
We in the past hosted our servers and services from the London docklands data centre hubs, however we have now moved our hosted services data centre to Reading in partnership with DediPower. DediPower offer us far better security and with less risk from disruption being outside London, along with purpose built buildings as well as far better geographical access. We host our Sage and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision) servers here along with complete hosted desktops, network storage and Microsoft Exchange Servers for our clients.
Sci-Net is a Microsoft Gold Partner offering hosted Microsoft Exchange services in partnership with Microsoft. Sci-Net are a certified Microsoft Partner for Microsoft “Business Productivity Online Suite” BPOS, of which Exchange server is included. However, for our small to medium customers, who don’t need a dedicated server, we are a reseller and partner for SimplyMail. We specialise in the SME market and offer 99.9% uptime with servers replicated in two geographically separate data centres. This is an ideal partnership with Sci-Net’s deep knowledge of Exchange Mail systems and customer’s requirements as well as the support services offered between Sci-Net and SimplyMail.
Our Exchange Hosting includes full Outlook 2007 client with synchronisation and Exchange cached mode, Outlook Web Access, Active Sync synchronisation with push mail to windows mobile phones and devices including Apple’s iPhone, iPad as well as Blackberry Enterprise Server.
